Membership grades

In accession to apprentice and approved members, ACM has several avant-garde associates grades to admit those with assorted years of associates and "demonstrated achievement that sets them afar from their peers".5

The ACM Fellows Program was accustomed by Council of the Association for Accretion Machinery in 1993 "to admit and account outstanding ACM associates for their achievements in computer science and advice technology and for their cogent contributions to the mission of the ACM."

There are anon about 500 Fellows6 out of about 60,000 able members.

editOther associates grades

In 2006 ACM began acquainted two added associates grades. Senior Associates accept ten or added years of associates and approved performance. Distinguished Engineers and Distinguished Scientists accept at atomic 15 years of associates who "have fabricated a cogent appulse on the accretion field".
